Adrian combines a career working in football representation with a background in teaching and languages, to bring you Fluent Football.
A vastly-experienced, TEFL-qualified English teacher by trade, with experience teaching in the UK, France, Spain and China, Adrian is passionate about teaching and, as a language learner himself, understands the challenges involved and loves helping others improve.

As well as running Fluent Football, Adrian works as a consultant in a leading UK sports marketing and public relations firm, focusing on player representation.
Over the past 9 years, he has helped secure over 45 deals for professional footballer clients at the top levels of world football in the English Premier League as well as English Championship, League One, League Two, Scottish Premiership and other leagues.

This varied role has included scouting professional footballers, promoting players to clubs, sourcing commercial and sponsorship opportunities and developing an extensive network of contacts throughout British and world football.
​
Adrian holds a BA Honours Degree in International Business and Modern Languages from Strathclyde University and also studied for a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at Glasgow University, specialising in Spanish and French secondary school teaching as well as spending time at the Institución Universitaria de la Compañia de Jesús (ETEA), a private busines school in Córdoba, Spain.

After gaining his TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification, Adrian gained valuable experience with some of the most reputable English institutions in the world including English First, Wall Street English and iTalki,

Adrian is a keen linguist and speaks fluent English, Spanish and French and has studied elementary courses in Chinese Mandarin, German and Italian.​
